Bruce McFarland’s Life Online

People used to say, “My life’s an open book.”
I think the contemporary equivalent might be:
“My life’s a revealing web search.”
In any case, here’s some of my content
links from the not-too-distant past.

Assorted Websites

My Grief Recovery Method website
I created this website to help people learn about the services I offer to support recovery from loss. There are numerous resources available, including links to the Grief Recovery Institute website, which offers additional resources.

The Zoe-Anne Fitzhugh Tribute website
I started putting together this website about my dear wife and partner shortly after she died in mid-2024 from Leukemia. It emerged from my grief, as well as my new understanding of both our lives. The latest addition to the site is on the Tribute menu choice, which takes you to a video taken on June 1, 2025 at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab Utah, where 19 friends and family gathered to honor Zoe-Anne and leave a standing tribute I built to remain in the sacred place she loved so much, but never made it to. Her spirit now has a permanent remembrance there.
This website is best viewed on a computer, not a phone.

    • On scvTV this “Finding Art Santa Clarita” episode (10/06/2017) was one of the first ones created in an ongoing series by scvTV, letting our community find out the stories behind our local artists. This video highlights several images from my Multiple-X series and includes a timelapse walkthrough video I created of the Mezquita Cathedral/Mosque in Cordoba, Spain.

    • I’ve always enjoyed writing, but in the past, most of it has been about technology or political commentary. I started writing about personal things and about my own journey of self-exploration and self-discovery after my wife and partner of 41 years died midway through 2024. It began as journaling and evolved into something much more. I write for myself and anyone who enjoys reading my perspective on various topics. Writing and thinking go hand in hand for me. Writing makes me think more clearly, and thinking makes me write more effectively. My nephew told me about SubStack. It’s a great place to find writers who write about all sorts of interesting things. I encourage everyone who likes to broaden their perspectives to take a look.

    • I’ve had my account on the quintessential business contact website for many years, and I try to keep it up with my latest endeavors so people who I’m connected with, or who are searching for me, can find out the latest info, or at least something current that’s happening with me. It’s a bit of a smorgasbord, but so my life has been.
